Originally from the East Coast, Keith began his work in California in Silicon Valley where innovation, design, and construction all move at warp speed. His desire to integrate living and working in a more urban context took him to San Francisco, where his vast interiors experience and interest in urban history and sustainability led him to become adept at the adaptive reuse of historic buildings and the revitalization of later 20th century office buildings. He believes that architects have a duty to use materials and resources that both conserve energy and endure. He also believes that in our diverse world, design professionals should also be very thoughtful about the meaning that our work conveys and how our work engages all people. Keith has extensive experience in feasibility studies for universities, public agencies, and learning centers. He is passionate about assembling project teams and making connections within the design process that bring value and purpose to the project team, end-users and future generations. Keith is a Managing Director and Associate Principal at brick, contributing to the firm’s multi-faceted portfolio, and championing the culture of a fast paced, growing firm.
