Sustainable Office Space
The Silicon Valley office market is wild, driven by the many bursts of tech startups and downsizings. Also stirring the mix is the pervasive traffic congestion generated by the many high-paying jobs, the concentration of businesses in close proximity and the lack of affordable housing near those high-tech jobs.
In the 899 West Evelyn project, brick founder Rob Zirkle saw an opportunity to create a building serving the need for office space but also the imperative for sustainability through green design.
